The division has been developing several different online
code-change courses as part of a pilot project that started in April 2008.
Online training is a convenient way to provide consistent curriculum to
participants around the state. The code-change courses available on this
page were created with building department inspectors in mind.
The courses have been recorded live using video-streaming
equipment. A slide presentation and handouts are also used as additional
teaching tools during the live training. The courses listed below include
the video, slides and handouts.
Viewing these recorded courses does not meet continuing
education requirements. Only live participation in these online classes
earns CE credits at this time. Please feel free to share the information
and refer to the material as necessary.
BCD plans to provide more online training in the future.
