The Tri-County Service Center works with industry and building officials to develop uniform practices and procedures for the building and construction industries in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties.

The Center provides services including a regional and statewide permitting program for minor electrical and plumbing installations, a dispute resolution service, standard permitting forms and processes, a public outreach program called "Permits Protect," and a standard fee methodology. With its industry and local governments partners, the Center facilitates the consistent application of code in the region through its Code Forum Program.
