Boiler and Pressure Vessel Permits

Boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure piping require permits for installation, alteration and repair. Permits are obtained through the Building Codes Salem office and work is inspected by state and insurance company inspectors.

Boilers and pressure vessels also require operating permits which are renewed periodically. Safety inspections by state and insurance company inspectors are performed periodically. You can access the request to purchase permits form on our website.
